Terms of service

Refund policy

Payments made for media preservation are not refundable. In the case that a customer is dissatisfied with the quality of a film, video, or audio transfer, we may, at our option, offer to redo the transfer.

Handling of media, liability

The Department of Communication Arts will make every effort to safeguard media which customers provide us, and to handle damaged or fragile media with great care. However, we cannot guarantee its condition, nor guarantee that what you provide us can be successfully converted to digital format(s).

Additionally, we will not be held liable for media or hard drive(s) onto which it is transferred, that is lost or damaged during shipping. We recommend, but do not require, that you insure your shipment for a suitable value, regardless of carrier(s) used.
