Media submission instructions

1. Drop off or ship your media

If you are in the Madison, Wisconsin area, and wish to drop off your media, please contact us at mp@commarts.wisc.edu to make prior arrangements. 

Otherwise, please carefully pack and ship your media to:

You may use whatever carrier you prefer, and you may wish to insure your shipment. Once your media is on the way, please email us at mp@commarts.wisc.edu with your tracking number. 

2. Receive an estimate

Once we have reviewed your archival media, we'll provide an estimate for the work. With your approval, we will complete the work and invoice you by email. Once your invoice is paid, we'll make arrangements or return shipping or pick up.

3. Provide a hard drive

For most projects, you'll need to provide a hard drive to which we will transfer your final digital files. Please order and ship us a hard drive of suitable size from the vendor of your choice, noting the title of your order on the shipping label if possible. We can advise what size hard drive you'll need.

4. Arrange return shipping or pickup

We will return your media, and the hard drive to which digital material was transferred (if applicable), via UPS, FedEx, or U.S. Postal Service. If you have an account with UPS or FedEx, please provide that information for return shipping. If you are in the Madison, Wisconsin area, we can make arrangements for in-person pickup.
